Tennia'S Apple Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped apples
    1 gal. chopped ripe tomatoes
    1 qt. chopped bell peppers (red & green)
    1 pt. hot pepper (red & green)
    1 1/2 qt. onions, chopped
    9 c. vinegar
    9 c. sugar
    1 box pickling spice (tie in bag)
    6 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar, pickling spice and salt.
    Add vegetables and bring to boil.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Pour into hot jars and seal.
    Makes 12-14 pints.
    Great with black-eyed peas, dried beans.
