Butterscotch Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream egg and sugar; add melted butter.
    Sift flour, soda, powder and salt and set aside.
    Put half your buttermilk into creamed mixture; add half your flour mixture.
    Keep doing until all used.
    Put in nuts.
    Pour into bread pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in greased pan.
