Carrot Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked carrots, mashed
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar (white or brown)
1/2 c. condensed milk
1/2 stick margarine or butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
unbaked pie shell
Preparation
-
Cook carrots with lemon juice and salt in small amount of water until well done.
Drain and mash.
Mix with remaining ingredients.
Pour into pie shell and bake in 350\u00b0 oven one hour or until firm.
