Fresh Pear Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. diced pears (6 pears)
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. oil
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak pears in sugar 1 hour.
Stir together flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda.
Beat together eggs, oil and vanilla; add nuts.
Pour mixture into pears and add flour mixture; mix well.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Makes 2 loaves.
Freezes well.
