Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan pieces or halves
    1 (8 or 9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    In bowl, combine all ingredients except pecans and beat well by hand until thoroughly combined.
    Place pecans in unbaked pie shell and pour liquid ingredients over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
    May serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
