Homemade Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. milk
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cream of tartar.
    In another mixing bowl, stir milk and oil together.
    Add flour, a little at a time, until mixture is light (you may not need all of the flour mixture). Flour cutting board. Roll out into 1-inch thick circle. Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Put in baking pan close together touching each other.
    Spread with melted butter. Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until light brown on top, about 20 minutes.
