Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    8 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in heavy saucepan and cook to hard crack stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Pour over 8 quarts of popped corn. Butter hands and make into balls.
