Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. shredded cabbage
    5 slices bacon, diced
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 small onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook cabbage 8 minutes.
    Fry bacon and remove from drippings. Add sugar and flour to bacon fat.
    Add water, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Cook until thick.
    Add onion and heat thoroughly in sauce.
