Sweet And Easy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 or 14 medium cucumbers
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
    5 tsp. salt
    4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    For 4 days, cover the whole cucumbers with clean, boiling water.
    On the 5th day, drain and cut into 1/2-inch slices. Combine remaining ingredients; boil and let stand over cucumbers for 2 days.
    On the third day, bring to a boil again and pour over cucumbers in jars.
    Seal jars in boiling water bath.
