Pastor'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and water.
    Heat until sugar melts.
    Add peanuts and cook until nuts begin to pop.
    Turn off burner and add baking soda.
    Stir well.
    Pour onto a buttered pan, spreading thin.
    Allow to cool.
    Then remove from pan and break.
