Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix (or Devils Food)
    1/2 c. milk
    14 oz. caramel candy squares
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
    6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on box.
    Pour half of batter into greased and floured 13 X 9 pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
