Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. hot salad oil
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. rosemary
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
    1 1/2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in hot oil.
    Add ground beef to crumble; cook until lightly browned.
    Add tomato paste and water, mixing well.
    Simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
    Cook noodles and drain. Spoon 1/3 of sauce into 13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish. Add half noodles and half of Ricotta.
    Repeat layers and spoon on remaining sauce.
    Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 12.
