Quick Meat Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. basil leaves
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    16 oz. tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground chuck in large skillet over moderate heat until it loses its pink color, breaking up with large spoon as it cooks. Stir in rest of ingredients.
    Bring to a boil, stirring.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Makes 6 cups sauce. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
