Pesto Ala Vulcan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pasta
    2 c. packed rinsed basil leaves
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
    1 c. Locatelli cheese, grated
    1/4 c. olive oil
Preparation
    Cook pasta (al dente); save some water after draining.
    Put garlic, olive oil and basil into blender.
    Blend until mixed (add water gradually, if dry).
    Add 1/2 cup cheese to mixture and blend 2 minutes until thoroughly mixed.
