Barbecued Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 cans French-style green beans
8 to 10 strips bacon
1 small onion
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
Preparation

Fry bacon and set aside; crumble.
Saute onion in bacon grease.
Add brown sugar and ketchup to skillet of onions and simmer for 15 minutes.
Drain beans.
Mix sugar mixture and beans together, then pour into a casserole dish.
Put crumbled bacon on top.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
