Aunt Carmen'S 7-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter or oleo
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. zest of lemon rind
    3/4 c. 7-Up (6 oz.)
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs slowly and mix until light and fluffy.
    Do not overmix. Reduce mixer to lowest speed and add flour, 1/4 cup at a time. Add extracts and zest of lemon rind.
    Stop mixer and fold in 7-Up by hand.
    Pour batter into greased and lightly floured Bundt pan or tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done (toothpick test).
    Let cool on rack.
