Codfish Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. to 1 lb. salted cod (fresh)
    4 to 5 medium size potatoes
    1 green pepper (optional)
    1 small onion
    2 to 3 medium eggs
    2 tsp. Old Bay seafood seasoning
Preparation
    Soak salted cod overnight or boil cod the day of purchase.
    If you choose to boil the cod, halfway through cooking, drain water and replace with fresh water.
    Continue to boil until cod falls apart.
    If you choose to soak cod overnight, the next day, drain off water.
    Add fresh water and boil until cod falls apart.
    Drain and remove the bones.
    Set cod aside.
