Fresh Apple Cake (Layer) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each.
    Add apples and mix.
    Add nuts and mix.
    Add dry ingredients gradually.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in four layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Frost with Fresh Apple Cake Frosting.
