Crock-Pot Mushroom Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms or 4 oz. can, with liquid
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 to 1 c. each carrot and celery chunks (optional)
Preparation
    Wash and slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    Place in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, plus about 1/2 cup water.
    Cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours.
