Oatmeal Pumpkin Bars - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. brown sugar
16 oz. canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 c. walnuts (or other)
Preparation

Cream butter with sugar.
Add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
Spread in a greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
