Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 1/2 c. very warm water
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
    Add shortening; mix well.
    Add half of the water and knead.
    Add rest of water; knead well.
    Let dough stand, covered, for 30 minutes.
    Preheat grill to medium heat.
    Make 25 to 30 golf ball size balls from dough.
    Roll out into tortillas.
    Cook on grill about a minute on each side, until tortilla fluffs on the third turn.
    Makes 25 to 30 tortillas.
