Brazil Nut Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. (1/2 lb.) cut-up Brazil nuts
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Cut each nut into 3 or 4 pieces.
In mixing bowl, mix together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together the flour, soda and salt; add to sugar mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in nuts and coconut.
Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheets.
Bake about 12 to 15 minutes in moderate (350\u00b0) oven.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
