Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail with juice
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    butter
Preparation
    Sprinkle with light brown sugar and nuts on top; dot with butter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
