Farris Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 or 2 lb. beef, cut in small cubes
    4 medium potatoes, cut up
    8 medium carrots, cut up
    3 stalks celery, cut up
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in small roasting pan.
    Sprinkle 2 tablespoons tapioca over.
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour one can tomato soup over; add one can water.
    Cover; put in oven and cook for 5 hours at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0. May be uncovered the last 1/2 hour.
