Microwave Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until frothy.
    Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating with an electric mixer.
    Continue beating until the meringue is very stiff and glossy.
    Spread meringue over warm, cooked pie filling, sealing at edge of crust.
    Microwave on Low for 4 minutes.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 6 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
