Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3 eggs, beaten
4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. candy cherries
1/2 c. sweet gumdrops, cut in small pieces
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Blend Crisco and sugars until smooth; add all little by little along with milk until all are blended.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Keep watch; some ovens vary.
Even if cookies are soft when taken out they will get firm.
(Soft cookies, less time.)
