Red, Red Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. long grain rice
1 large red bell pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 c. sliced scallions
salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Add rice to a large pot of boiling water.
Stir once.
Boil for 12 minutes.
Drain into a colander.
Or cook rice per directions on package.
Char pepper on grill or gas flame.
Place in a brown bag and shake.
Remove charred skin and seed; roughly chop.
