Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (yellow or white)
    1 large vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. frozen coconut flakes
    1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip or similar brand
Preparation
    Bake cake mix according to package directions using a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Crumble half of the baked cake into punch bowl.
    Mix instant pudding according to package directions.
    Pour half over the cake in bowl. Spoon half the pineapple, pie filling, Cool Whip and coconut into bowl. Crumble remaining cake in bowl and repeat the layers of ingredients.
