Cabbage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 medium onions
    1/2 medium cabbage, shredded
    2 cans beans (kidney or pinto)
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. water
    1 large can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef and onions; drain.
    Add shredded cabbage, 1/2 cup of water and tomatoes.
    Cook for 15 minutes, then add chili powder, beans, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
