Cold Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 qt. cucumbers (whole or sliced)
    1 gal. vinegar
    1 oz. whole cloves
    1 oz. cinnamon
    1 oz. black pepper
    1 oz. mustard seed
    1 oz. dram saccharin
    1 c. salt (scant)
Preparation
    Pack cucumbers in jars.
    Mix vinegar and spices; stir thoroughly.
    Pour solution over pickles in the jar and seal.
