Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cauliflower
    2 cucumbers
    3 large onions
    3 green peppers
    3 cloves garlic
    1 c. coarse salt
    5 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 zucchini
    1 small yellow squash
    whole pods of small okra
    2 pods sliced hot pepper
    5 c. red vinegar
    3 green tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Chop vegetables into big pieces.
    Leave flowerets large.
    Put all vegetables in a large container.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Pour 1/2 cup of water over all.
    Mix well.
    Cover and let set 12 hours or overnight.
