Beef Broccoli Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie shell, uncooked (top and bottom)
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 beaten egg
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, cooked and well drained
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in a 12-inch skillet.
    Drain off fat.
    Add flour, salt and garlic.
    Mix into beef and onion.
    Add milk and softened cream cheese; cook until smooth and bubbly.
    Remove 1 cup of mixture from pan.
    Add to the beaten egg.
    Mix well and return to pan.
    Cook until mixture becomes thick.
    Add cooked and drained broccoli.
    Mix together.
