Copper Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 can tomato soup
    1/3 c. sugar
    sliced purple onions, celery and/or green peppers
Preparation
    Cook carrots for 8 minutes.
    Heat vinegar, tomato soup and sugar.
    Add onions, celery and/or green peppers.
    Pour heated mixture over vegetables.
    Chill.
