Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large potatoes, baked
2/3 c. butter or margarine
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
6 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 green onions, chopped
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
5 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Dice potatoes.
(Put in icebox for a while and then dice.) Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat and add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook one minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until bubbly. Add potatoes, salt and pepper.
Also add 2 tablespoons onions, 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup cheese.
Cook until thoroughly heated, stir in sour cream.
Add extra milk if necessary.
Serve with remaining onions, cheese and bacon on top.
