Pecan Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs and 1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients, except pecans.
    Roll into balls.
    Dip in sugar and press pecan in center of each ball. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
