Creamed Quail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 quail
1 lb. butter
1 qt. sweet cream
1 1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
wild rice, cooked (6 servings)
Preparation

Salt and pepper quail.
Slowly simmer in butter in large heavy cast-iron pan (deep) until tender.
Add cream and simmer unti done, whisking to blend.
