Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add to cream mixture.
    Roll into balls.
    Dip one side in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Bake on ungreased baking sheet (10 to 12 minutes) in 400\u00b0 oven until slightly brown, but still soft.
