Oriental Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked brown rice
    4 oz. pimentos
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped fine
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 bunch chopped green onions
    1 can water chestnuts
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Lightly brown
    1
    1/2 cups uncooked brown rice in a dry skillet.
    Add 4
    cups boiling water, cover and simmer 45 to 60 minutes, until
    done.
    Do
    not
    stir.
    Mix all ingredients and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
