Orchard Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium red cooking apples
    1 c. quick old-fashioned oats or corn flakes, uncooked
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. milk or cream
Preparation
    Pare, core and slice apples.
    Arrange in an ungreased shallow 2-quart baking dish.
    Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt. Cut in butter and sprinkle mixture over apples.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown and bubbly and apples are tender.
    Serve warm with milk or ice cream.
