Shortie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Cream of Wheat
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in bowl until dough forms a ball.
    (If too buttery, add flour; if too dry, add butter.)
    Pat out on board (not floured) 1/2-inch thick.
    Prick with fork.
    Cut into squares or shapes and place on cookie sheet.
    Place in 300\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen cookies.
