Spicy Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. red hots
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. red Jell-O (cherry, raspberry or strawberry)
    1 can applesauce
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in boiling water.
    Add Jell-O and applesauce; let cool.
    Put in a square pan.
    When congealed, cut into squares.
