Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cut strawberries
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook strawberries and 1 cup of sugar for 10 minutes.
    Add 2 more cups of sugar and cook 10 more minutes to rolling boil.
    Put in crock or porcelain to cool; stir.
    Let stand overnight.
    Put in jars and cover with wax.
