Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can garden peas, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can green beans (French-style), drained
    1 (4 oz.) can pimentos, drained
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. green sweet pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Bring the first 6 ingredients to a boil and cool.
    When cool, add rest of the ingredients.
    Mix and store in refrigerator for 12 hours.
    Serves
    10.
