Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix flour and salt together.
    Cut in shortening until consistency of coarse corn meal.
    Beat egg, water and vinegar together.
    Mix into shortening mixture.
    Knead.
    Pinch off balls about size of egg and roll out on a floured board in round shape. Makes about 10 pies.
    Sprinkle sugar on pie shapes.
