Quick Taco Pie - cooking recipe

1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 oz. pkg. taco or chili seasoning mix
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. sliced stuffed green olives
1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 1/2 to 2 c. crushed corn chips
1 c. sour cream
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. catsup
1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. liquid hot pepper sauce
Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain.
Stir in seasoning mix, water and olives.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Separate dough into 8 triangles. Place these in ungreased 9 or 10-inch pan, pressing to form a crust.
Sprinkle 1 cup crushed corn chips over the bottom of crust.
Spoon meat mixture over crust and corn chips.
Spread sour cream over meat mix and cover with cheese.
Sprinkle on remaining chips.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until crust is golden brown.
If desired, serve in wedges, topped with shredded lettuce and avocado slices.
Yields 6 servings.
