Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. butter
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can flaked coconut
1 unbaked pie shell (deep pan)
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch in a bowl.
Add butter; cream well.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Fold in coconut. Pour into pie crust.
Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
