Calas (Little Doughnuts) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. Bisquick
    2 eggs
    1/2 to 3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and drop by small teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
    Fry until golden brown; drain on paper towel.
    Roll in powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar.
    Batter may be made the night before and stored in refrigerator.
