Packer Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 c. celery, cut in large pieces
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    5 Tbsp. rice or tapioca (I use tapioca)
    6 carrots, cut in large pieces
    6 potatoes, quartered
    1 c. stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Put everything raw into roaster.
    Cover.
    Bake 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
    Serves 6.
