Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 c. celery, cut in small pieces
1 large onion, sliced
1 large can whole tomatoes
salt
pepper
Preparation

Cut round steak in large chunks and flour.
Brown on both sides in skillet, then place in large casserole dish.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, then add the rest of the ingredients. Add water to make sure enough liquid is in dish.
Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 275\u00b0, checking periodically to make sure casserole does not cook dry.
You can add more water if necessary.
