Broccoli Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. fresh bread crumbs
    dash of salt
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
    1/4 c. bacon fat
    6 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 egg yolks
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Saute onion in bacon fat.
    Remove from heat; add bread crumbs, milk, salt, chicken broth and broccoli.
    Mix well.
    Beat 2 egg yolks until creamy and thick; combine with broccoli mixture.
    Beat 4 egg whites until stiff, but not dry; fold in.
    Pour into greased 1 quart casserole dish.
    Set in hot water and bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
